Embroidery and Applique

Embroidery and applique work have always been my passion, but I was using it mainly to refresh clothes , table cloths or serviettes, too apprehensive to venture into artworks. This one was inspired by the war situation in Ukraine....I usually tend to use a more humouristic, cartoonesque style.

I  finally gathered courage and a local Hout Bay Art Gallery is exhibiting them....Yay!
